Under her direction, the Council has grown from a small organization sponsoring a modest speaker program, to reaching thousands of individuals every year through several acclaimed speaker series, educational programming, special events
and an expanding network of young professionals. She has enjoyed serving on the nominating committee, as well as the planning committee for the annual World Affairs Councils of America National Conference in Washington, D.C. This gathering connects Council members throughout the U.S. with leading international policy-makers and experts.
Engaged in the First Coast community, Trina is a 2021 Jacksonville Business Journal Women of Influence honoree and was named the 2020 International Individual of the Year by the JAXUSA Partnership for support of international business growth in the seven counties of Northeast Florida. With a passion for learning about the world and its people, Trina enjoyed leading the Israel: Land of Cultural Treasures Tour in March 2020 via the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia’s Travel the World flagship program, exploring the multicultural traditions of the Israeli people, the ruins of ancient civilizations and the natural beauty of a land steeped in history. A proud “Longhorn,” she earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
