Passage from Nova Scotia to Greenland and Iceland

ABOUT THE TOUR

From the vibrant harbor city of Halifax to the volcanic landscapes of Reykjavik, this voyage traces the dramatic North Atlantic. After exploring historic St. John’s, sail across the rugged Labrador Sea toward the remote settlements of southern Greenland. Visit colorful communities including Nanortalik, Qassiarsuk, Narsaq, and Qaqortoq, where Norse history and striking fjord landscapes meet. Cruise past windswept Cape Farewell before continuing across the North Atlantic to Iceland. This journey blends maritime heritage, Arctic scenery, and the quiet beauty of some of the North Atlantic’s most remote coastal communities.
We are delighted to have Admiral William J. Fallon accompanying our voyage as a distinguished guest lecturer. His expertise in many aspects of the places we will visit will surely deepen your understanding of each destination and enrich your travel-learning experience.
Our vessel for this cruise will be the Swann Hellenic Vega, a state-of-the-art, new-generation expedition cruise ship built in Finland and launched in 2022. Accommodating only 152 guests in superb staterooms and balcony suites, Vega features elegant common areas and the most advanced modern environmentally conscious technology.
