David Weisman

David Weisman

David Weisman, a Philadelphia native, spent a year in France as an exchange student before earning a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. He then lived and worked in Israel for four years before returning to the U.S., where he held roles as a New England account executive for Berlitz Translation Services and as an international flight attendant and team trainer with United Airlines. Joining the U.S. diplomatic service in 1999, David served in consular, political, economic, and public affairs across Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia, with notable assignments under Secretary Colin Powell at the State Department’s Operations Center and in maritime security. Retired since 2019, he continues to accept short-term assignments in locations such as Burundi, Gabon, and Cabo Verde. David resides in Philadelphia and is fluent in French, Hebrew, Portuguese, and Spanish.
