Jacqueline Miller is president and CEO of the World Affairs Council of Seattle and a board member of the World Affairs Councils of America. In Seattle, she serves on the Mayor’s International Affairs Advisory Board and serves on the Washington State Advisory Committee for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. She is also a current board member and past chair of the board of Global Ties U.S. and a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Prior to joining the World Affairs Council, Jacqueline worked in New York and Washington DC in senior positions at think tanks including the Council on Foreign Relations and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. A native of Australia (although the accent is long gone) and specialist in Russia, she has traveled to nearly 40 countries, including living and working in Estonia and Kyrgyzstan. Her favorite travels are anywhere with her family but traveling solo she particularly loved Cuba and Japan.
