WHAT IS CULTURAL DIPLOMACY TRAINING?

Get your teams ready to welcome the world to your activities, sites, museums, events, and festivals in 2026.  World Affairs’ Cultural Diplomacy Training will be offered to your teams in multiple formats, empowering our collective workforce to welcome guests from across countries and cultures with excellent, culturally informed, and internationally aware tools and skills, putting Philadelphia’s best foot forward.

In today’s globalized world, Philadelphia’s professionals across sectors and industry are increasingly interacting with visitors from diverse cultural backgrounds. It is more important than ever that Philadelphia puts its best foot forward as a proud diverse, welcoming, and international city. The World Affairs Council of Philadelphia’s 2026 Cultural Diplomacy Training program presents a unique opportunity to build specific, tangible skills while deepening understanding and appreciation of cultural differences needed to host well. These skills are essential for providing exceptional service that transcends cultural boundaries.

Cultural Diplomacy Training will be offered as:

  1. In-person training for individuals or groups
  2. Virtual, asynchronous modules that can be taken as single courses or together as a series
  3. Executive-level training prior to high-protocol events or hosting
World Affairs is a proud 2026 partner with Visit Philly.
