Students from under-resourced Philadelphia schools receive coaching in Model UN, public speaking, research, debate, and global competency skills through our grant-funded Global Smarts Mentoring Program. Mentors visit classrooms weekly from January through May to help students build confidence and prepare for Model UN.
Global Smarts pairs college students and adult professionals with middle school classrooms in Title I Philadelphia schools. For college and university students, participation can also count as a spring semester internship.
