ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Join Buchanan for a comprehensive overview of export compliance best practices, latest trends and latest enforcement actions taken by the U.S. government.
U.S. companies often overlook the complexities of export compliance, exposing themselves to significant risks. Since the invasion of Ukraine, the U.S. government has been ramping up military and dual-use export controls to ensure that equipment is only exported to friendly nations and to prevent sanctioned companies/people from receiving U.S. goods and services. We’ll also discuss recent enforcement actions by the Bureau of Industry and Security for not only export controls but also U.S. anti-boycott laws, and the impact on two Pennsylvania firms.
This event would be highly relevant for executives, business owners, and professionals who work in the international export or manufacturing industries.
Lunch will be provided.
