Northern Lights of Finland
With Dr. Carla Thorson
About this Trip
We invite you to join an exciting adventure to explore the Northern Lights of Finland. Begin in Helsinki, a city with a vibrant architectural style that blends classicism and functionalism. Then, board a flight for Lapland, Finland’s rugged northern region. Known for its unique culture, this mythical land offers up views of the northern lights, reindeer encounters, and Arctic treasures. Spend overnight in your glass and snow igloo at the Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort. From there, continue on a northern lights trek, making stops to gaze at the sky above and be amazed at the dancing colors in the sky. Continue to learn about Lappish culture on a reindeer safari. Spend a day in the Arctic as a commander of your own dog sled team. Accompanied by Dr. Carla Thorson, you will explore the politics of this Arctic region.
$4,999 per person plus airfare. Limited space remains!
