Explore the city’s ancient heart in Registan Square, revisit scholastic discoveries in the Ulugbek Observatory and marvel at the intricate architecture of its many religious monuments.  In Bangkok glide along the Chao Phraya River with side trips to the klongs—back-water canals that give the city its nickname “Venice of the East.”   Arrive in Yangon, Myanmar and charter to Bagan, once the capital city of the Pagan Kingdom as well as its cultural heart.  After an unforgettable night in Bagan, venture to Inle Lake for two nights to discover the centuries-old traditions of the Intha people and see the iconic leg-rowing fishermen.  Discover the royal treasure of Jaipur, India as you immerse yourself in a vibrant tapestry of culture, cuisine and architecture. Admire the majestic architecture of the royal structures like Hawa Mahal and Amber Fort, and get swept up in the lively atmosphere of the city’s many bazaars.  In the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal, admire the distinctive architecture of two ancient cities, Patan and Bhaktapur. Venture into the UNESCO World Heritage site of Pashupatinath, or explore the massive Boudhanath Stupa, where thousands of pilgrims gather daily.  In Bhutan, hike to the impressive Tiger's Nest Monastery, and witness an archery demonstration that showcases Bhutan's national sport and explore distinctive fortresses known as dzongs.  Continue to Oman to explore this fabled port city, from its lively markets to awe-inspiring mosques, and opt to visit nearby Nizwa for a glimpse into local traditions.  Return to London for a farewell dinner and a night’s rest before returning home on your independent flight the next day.
