2021 Model Senate Program Logistics

Mandatory COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols:

  • All student participants are required to submit proof of vaccination to the Council prior to the program. Students may confirm their vaccination status by filling out this form;
  • All teachers attending the program are reqired to submit proof of vaccination to the Council prior to the program. Teachers may confirm their vaccination status by filling out this form;
  • All participants are required to bring a photo identification to the program (student IDs are acceptable);
  • If any student, chaperone or teacher fails to provide proof of vaccination, or fails to bring a photo identification to the program, they will not be admitted to the Community College of Philadelphia's facilities.

Location
Community College of Philadelphia

Arrival Information
Registration for the program will take place at the Bonnell Auditorium Entrance, located on 16th street, between Callowhill and Spring Garden Streets. All students, faculty and chaperones must use this entrance.

Bus Drop-Off

Bus drop-off and pick-up can take place on 16th street between Callowhill and Spring Garden. Council staff will be placed near the entrance to help facilitate entrance process. 

Public Transporation Directions
By Subway → All local subway trains on SEPTA's Broad Street Line (north- and southbound) stop at the Spring Garden station, located at Broad Street and Spring Garden Street.

By Bus → The "4" and "16" buses run north- and southbound on Broad Street and make stops at Spring Garden Street. Additionally, the "43" bus runs east/west on Spring Garden and stop at the Community College of Philadelphia.

By Regional Rail → Regional Rail can be taken to Suburban Station, and then connections can be made to bus routes.

Parking Information
Car parking is available on-site at the Community College of Philadelphia on a cash basis at the corners of 15th and Callowhill, 16th and Callowhill, and 17th and Callowhill

Dress Code
Students are asked to attend the Summit either in school uniform or professional attire.

Lunch
There will be a working lunch during the program, and it is the responsibility of all student delegates and attending school faculty members to bring a bagged lunch for the program.
