About the Event

Did you know…?

China has only one time zone.
France is the world’s most-visited tourist destination.
Philadelphia has eleven international sister cities.

And the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia
and Citizen Diplomacy International Philadelphia
ARE MERGING!

With a combined 140+ years of experience in connecting Philadelphia to the world, these two leading international affairs organizations, dedicated to creating citizen diplomats, are joining forces to be stronger together. Guests joined with us on December 13 to celebrate all things international.

Together, we will annually bring more than 1,000 rising international leaders to Philadelphia, broaden the horizons of more than 2,900 local and international students, connect with more than 125 countries, and engage more than 7,000 people in the Greater Philadelphia region and beyond in connecting with each other and the world.

The night included:

  • International food & drink from Mexico, Italy, China, India, the Caribbean, & more.
  • Networking with internationally like-minded movers & shakers.
  • Recognition of students, educators, & young professionals driving change in international awareness.
  • Special moments to share why global travel, education, & engagement are important to you.
  • Fun opportunities to bring home a little piece of world affairs.

If you were unable to join us for this special event, please consider making a gift to support global affairs education and citizen diplomacy programs as a part of your year-end giving!
