About the Event

One of the world's most important flashpoints is Kashmir, over which three wars have been fought between India and Pakistan. Since the two countries are now armed with nuclear weapons, the risks of confrontation are infinitely greater.

Kashmir is divided into two regions, one is a self-governing territory administered by Pakistan and the other has long enjoyed autonomy within India, though that autonomy has now been eliminated.

We are pleased to feature a conversation with the Honorable Sardar Masood Khan, President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (under Pakistani dominion), to explore his perspective on the issues that divide India and Pakistan.

The conversation will be conducted by Carol Rollie Flynn, President-designate of the Foreign Policy Research Institute and a 30-year veteran of the CIA and Craig Snyder, President & CEO of the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia.

Join the World Affairs Council and the Foreign Policy Research Institute for this exclusive "Members Only" event at the Union League.
