As climate change becomes a more recognizable and real threat to people of all walks of life, all around the world, the challenge of providing low-cost and widely accessible solutions is also present. But more companies are realizing the importance of making green energy solutions accessible and affordable. Both domestically and internationally, individuals, organizations, and governments are coming up with innovative ways to provide solar, wind, and other renewable, low-cost energy sources to larger swaths of people.
The World Affairs Council of Philadelphia hosted a discussion about the ways in which countries, companies, and individuals are finding innovative and technologically advanced ways to combat climate change and to ensure that these technologies are affordable and accessible to all people. This event was part of the World Affairs Councils of America's "Climate Week."
