About the Event

At their own leisure, guests visited 1900 Market Street to view 22 photos on display during a two-week photography exhibit: A Journey through Contested Lands

Six Magnum photographers went to remote regions around the world where indigenous communities are waging unseen battles to remain on their ancestral lands. Magnum Photos and Pacific Standard, with support from the Pulitzer Center, collaborated on a special photo issue and website called A Journey through Contested Lands, released in the summer of 2018, highlighting the work of the photographers and journalists who visited these communities fighting to protect their land.

The exhibit was open from March 19 through April 2, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Thank you to Brandywine Realty Trust for their generous support of this event.
