Expert Speaker Recommended Resources
Students are encouraged to explore Urban Creators' extensive resource directory recommended by the organization's co-founder, Alex Epstein. Epstein will be speaking to students on the third program day, Wednesday, July 28. We especially recommend the "How to Be a Resource" section of this webpage, where students can discover ways that they can support social and environmental justice and pursue local solutions to the SDGs that they are studying throughout the program week. Click here to access the resource directory.
Prior to engaging with the program's final expert speaker, Feini Yin, Program Administrator at Fishadelphia, students are encouraged to explore the following resources to learn more about Fishadelphia as an organization and the type of work that promotes localized sustainable development:
- Welcome to Fishadelphia (Modern Farmer)
- Seafood as Self-Care: My Year of Eating Community-Supported Fish (San Fransisco Chronicle)
