Dr. Peter DeCarlo, Drexel University
Dr. Peter DeCarlo is an Associate Professor with a joint appointment in the Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering, and the Department of Chemistry at Drexel University. He uses state-of-the-art instrumentation to measure the chemical composition of particulates and gases in indoors, outdoors, and in the laboratory to better understand the intersection between energy, air quality, health, and climate impacts of human emissions. He has made air quality and climate-related measurements from planes, trucks, and stationary sites all over the world to better understand direct emissions, sources, and subsequent chemical reactions of pollutants in the atmosphere.
Anh Hua, Nationalities Service Center
Anh Hua is the Anti-Human Trafficking Program Manager at Nationalities Service Center (NSC). In her current role, she coordinates training and outreach activities and oversees case management and legal services for survivors. Anh is the Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Anti-Trafficking Coalition Training/Communication Subcommittee. Prior to NSC, she was the Country Director for the Senhoa Foundation’s anti-trafficking programs in Cambodia and India. Anh graduated from University of the Pacific with a Bachelor of Arts in International and Regional Studies. She received her Master in Public Affairs from Princeton University.
Laura Rigell, Philadelphia Energy Authority
Laura Rigell has led the Philadelphia Energy Authority's solar efforts since 2017. She developed and implemented the nation's largest Solarize campaign, which helped build a residential solar market in Philadelphia -- the 4th fastest-growing solar market in the US. Laura's work prioritizes equity, creating new vehicles to support solar for low- and moderate-income households citywide, and starting the School District's first solar and energy efficiency training program, Find Your Power, focusing on high school students.
