Bringing the World to Our Podium

The World Affairs Council of Philadelphia offers a wide variety of valuable, informative programs, including:

  • Midday and evening speaker events
  • Conferences
  • Special events featuring prominent national and international figures
  • Special invitation programs for contributing members at the $250 level and above
  • Exciting domestic and international tours featuring insightful educational briefings
  • Unique educational programs for students and teachers
  • Discounted and free film passes throughout the year featuring movies and documentaries of national and international renown
Reservation Policies

Payment: The Council will only guarantee reservations paid in advance, including receipt of lecture passes with reservations. Reservations are accepted in order of receipt. VISA, MasterCard and American Express are accepted. If using the printed form and mailing your reservation, payment or lecture pass must accompany the form and must be received by the Council three business days before the event to guarantee your reservation.

Lecture passes: lecture passes may be redeemed for admission to the lecture of any program excluding some programs as noted. lecture passes must accompany your reservation and be mailed to the Council in time to be processed three business days before the event. Lost or stolen passes cannot be honored. Please call Membership at 215-561-4700, ext. 221 or ext. 222, with questions.

Confirmation: Notices or tickets are generally not sent. Your name tag at the event will serve as an admission ticket.

Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least three business days before the program for a refund. Day trips require five business days notice for a refund.
